Telangana row: Kiran Kumar Reddy meets Sonia
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy met Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Monday in Delhi to hold consultations over the Telangana crisis, anNDTV report said.
The crisis was triggered after Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde further delayed the announcement of a decision on Telangana. Shinde had previously declared on 28 December that a decision on Telangana would be announced within a month.

Reddy and state Congress chief Botsa Satyanarayana reached Delhi on Monday for consultations with top leadership of the Congress party.
The two leaders reached the national capital by an early morning flight. The party leadership had summoned them for consultations before taking a decision on the issue.
They are likely to meet Congress general secretary Ghulam Nabi Azad, who is also in charge of party affairs in the state, as well as other central leaders.
Besides Telangana, the latest political developments in the state and issues related to the party and the government may also come up for discussion.
Azad had said the party would have consultations with the chief minister, state party chief and leaders of all three regions — Telangana, Andhra and Rayalaseema.
