Telangana supporters lay siege to D Srinivas house

NIZAMABAD: Irked by the alleged indifference of former Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) chief and member of legislative council (MLC) D Srinivas over the Telangana issue, PDSU activists on Friday tried to lay siege to his residence as a mark of protest in Nizamabad town. The protesters were taken into custody by the police and some of them had to be forcibly bundled into waiting vans. They raised slogans against Srinivas demanding his resignation as MLC. The PDSU activists alleged that D Srinivas was distancing himself from the Telangana movement.
