Telangana MPs and Ministers Ready to Quit Hyderabad: T Congress MPs decided to give their resignations if statehood is not announced for Telangana. Congress MPs met in the residence of MP Vivek. They decided to write a letter to congress high command. They are going to inform to the high command that the decision of the congress government should be in favour of Telangana state and otherwise they are ready to give resignations. Congress MPs are planning to pressurize Congress high command as well as central government to announceTelangana state. Congress MPs from Andhra Pradesh are not happy with theannouncement of Azad and Shinde who sought some more time to resolve the Telangana issue. Telangana ministersalso said that they are ready to resign for achieving Telangana state. They said that they are ready for any sacrifice for Telangana. They added that they are waiting for the decision of congress high command hoping for a decision favourable to Telangana. Minister Sridhar Babu informed that they willannounce their course of action soon and also said that they have full faith on congress high command. Telanganaministers met in the residence of Minister Jana Reddy at 3.00 to discuss their course of action. Meanwhile Telangana JAC announced a course of action to pressure Telangana congress ministers and MPs to resign from thegovernment. KCR who was at the ‘Samara Deeksha’ venue said that if UPAgovernment does not support Telangana, TRS will support NDA.. KCR informed that Chalo Hyderabad program will be taken up during assembly session and Budget session. BJP president Rajnath Singh demanded that Prime Minster Dr Manmohan Singh should speak about Telangana. He alleged that Congress is the reason for the situations in Telangana. He said if congress government does not announce Telangana issue, BJP government will definitely give the state as they are going to for government in the next elections. Telangana minister Jana Reddy commented that the announcement of congress high command regarding Telangana issue surprised him. He spoke to the media in the Secretariat after participating in the Telangana congress ministers meeting. He hoped that Sonia will take a decision to solve the Telangana issue. He informed that Telanganaministers, MLAs and MLCs are trying hard to achieve Telangana state. Oscar Fernandez said that congress government will soon offer a solution to the Telangana problem.
